Dunham has received numerous awards for art direction and design from the Society of Publication Designers (SPD), American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME), American Photography, American Illustration, and PRINT for her work as Creative Director and Designer at various publications including: PEOPLE, Women's Health, Health, Inc., Worth, Money, and New York magazines, as well as serving as the founding art director of Daily Candy, Inc. She has collaborated with leading editorial photographers and guest-lectured at New York University through their Continuing Education program. She was a mentor at Parsons School of Design, her alma mater, and served as Vice President of The Society of Publication Designers as well as co-chair of their annual gala. She has consulted on design and photography for print, television, video, digital media, and record album design.

Though her maker's journey has taken center stage, design and journalistic, conceptual storytelling—her first loves—remain fundamental to how she processes the world and what she creates.
