Andrea Dunham, a former magazine creative director, decided to pivot in 2023 from publication design in order to nourish her fascination with adornment as a universal human expression. Drawing variously from her love of brilliant color, bold graphics, a 70’s modernist aesthetic —and her own desire to one day be draped in jewelry and entombed like an Egyptian queen—Andrea’s creative curiosity is driven by that which she covets. “Nothing stirs the soul like the buttery glow of high-karat gold on the skin. And for me, nothing feels quite as precious—or as meaningful and powerful—as wearing a one-of-a-kind work of art that shows the hand of the artist.”

Though applying ancient goldsmithing techniques, Andrea refuses to be confined to a single cultural or historical touchpoint. She sources unique stones, ancient artifacts and objects from nature and sets them in weighty solid gold, hand-fabricating simple, sumptuous statements that reflect the intensity of the emotions they excite.
