A recovering magazine creative director, I—that’s me, Andrea Dunham*— pivoted in 2023 to metals to nourish my lifelong fascination with the art of jewelry. Drawing from my attraction to everything bold—brilliant color, playful graphics, modernist and classical design— I apply ancient goldsmithing techniques to hand-fabricate rings, amulets and earrings in high-karat gold with gems and carved stones chosen for the emotions they excite in me. Tinkering away in my studios in NY and on Block Island, I surround myself with images of my muses—iconoclastic women artists who lived their lives in service to their passions. Singular, precious and powerful are the guiding touchstones for every piece I create.

My goal is to one day leave this world draped in gold like an Egyptian queen. My jewelry is for rule-breakers, rebels and collectors of beauty who share that lofty ambition.

*Andrea is also a Pisces with a Capricorn moon—she has no idea if that means anything, but wants to believe it does. She's an omnivore and a baller home cook, and technically capable of knitting hats, though she rarely finishes one.
