Handmade gold and lapis pendant

WHY ONE-OF-A-KIND?

You delight in collecting treasures that reflect your lived experiences and that express your evolving emotions. Like me, you get a little thrill from spying the hand of the artist in the work; that labor of love, the little distinctive marks that signal your piece is definitely not mass produced but thoughtfully, considerately, meaningfully brought to life.

FAQ

  • I fabricate every piece I design by hand, in my studio. Picture a hunched over, Medieval tunic-wearing, bleary eyed misanthrope milling, forging and tinkering away. Just kidding I do wear pants. It's just me and my tools bringing each design to life. Occasionally, I collaborate with trusted artisans in New York City for casting an element or bead-stringing (and a social life), but the heart of every piece is crafted in my own creative space, jamming out to 70s Brit Prog rock and maximizing my potential with every podcast under the sun.

  • I work in hand-alloyed, 21 and 22-karat gold and occasionally use sterling, fine and Argentium* silver. I source fair-mined gems, reclaimed vintage stones, and objects from antiquity and nature that I collect from my travels. This sustainable approach lets me create stunning pieces that are as kind to the earth as they are beautifully made.

*Argentium is an alloy of sterling with a higher content of fine silver than regular sterling, with a touch of germanium added that prevents tarnishing and allows for beautiful fusing with high karat gold.

  • Why, yes! Love my work and a custom piece is calling to you?— I'd be delighted to hear about your ideas. Though like all artists, I’m in love with my own.

Each commission will be carefully considered based on my current availability, timeline, and material requirements. I review every inquiry thoughtfully to ensure we’re both in alignment with our vision and I am able to give your piece the attention it deserves.
