Hi! I’m a former magazine creative director who decided to pivot in 2023 from publication design to metalsmithing in order to nourish my lifelong fascination with the artistry and expression of making and wearing jewelry. Drawing from my attraction to anything bold: brilliant color, playful graphics, and both modernist and classical design, I hand-fabricate rings, amulets and earrings using ancient goldsmithing techniques with gorgeous gems, unique carved and natural stones and ancient beads that reflect the intensity of the emotions they excite in me.

In my studio, surrounded by pinned-up images of my muses—iconoclastic women artists who lived their lives in service to the exploration of their passions—my choice to change my creative path feels both urgent and essential. I’ve come to experience the deep meaning and power of wearing a one-of-a-kind work of art that shows the hand of the artist, and I’ve come to learn that making that jewelry myself, painstakingly by hand, is my calling. Every day, I am lit up by the joy, challenge and incredible satisfaction of expressing myself anew at the bench. It’s a dream come true.
