A recovering magazine creative director, Andrea Dunham pivoted in 2023 to metals to nourish her lifelong fascination with jewelry. Drawing from her attraction to anything bold—brilliant color, playful graphics, modernist and classical design— she applies ancient goldsmithing techniques to hand-fabricate rings, amulets and earrings in high-karat gold with gems and carved stones chosen for the emotions they excite. Tinkering away in her studios in NY and Block Island, she is surrounded by images of her muses—iconoclastic women artists who lived their lives in service to their passions. Singular, precious and powerful are the guiding touchstones for every piece she creates.

Her goal is to one day leave this world draped in gold like an Egyptian queen. Her jewelry is for rule-breakers, rebels and collectors of beauty who share that lofty ambition.

Andrea lives and works in New York and Block Island with her musician husband, demonstrative cat and curious ferret. She's a Pisces with a Capricorn moon, a gourmand omnivore, capable of knitting hats, but seldom finishes them.
