Ice jadeite, lightly translucent, cool to the eye and to the touch—carved into marquise slices by artisans in India who still do it the slow way. Up top, the juicy Mandarin garnets are bold and proud and Aperol orange. I bezel-set each one and suspended it from a 22K gold horsebit I made by hand: the equestrian’s hardware, repurposed for something far more free-spirited. The jade below sways when you turn your head.
